Given that we haven't the serviceable aircraft to be in two countries at once, imo it is mostly a political stunt.

It may be of help if we are tracking some of the vile shits and they make a run for it over the Syrian border but that's about it.

Again imo, we should concentrate on Iraq with the yanks and leave Syria to the mad vlad and his new best mates, the froggies.

I`d sooner see the money go on proper border controls so idiots carrying out attacks on innocent people like in Paris can`t get into the country to start with.

Sorry, your about 20 years too late for that  :)
Most of these vile scum are already living in Europe and holding a European passport.
Imo, the illegal immigrants are just the trigger for what has been bubbling under the surface for a lot of years  >:(

The ones that carried out the attacks in Paris were recent immigrants/refugees coming through Turkey.

I know we can`t do anything about the ones that already live here but we should be making an effort to stop any more undesirables coming through our borders.

Lets face it nobody wants to go to war, but that fact is that we have been attacking IS targets in Iraq for over a year already and it makes no sense to me to stop hitting them when they go over a line on a map or not hit positions and assets they have elsewhere.  :-\  Imagine in WW2 if Britain said 'Well we'll attack the Nazis in France, but we'll leave them alone in Germany'  ::)

Apparently last night the RAF hit some oil wells operated by IS, which begs the question... Why the hell havn't the Yanks, Frogs, Ivan, Jordanians, or indeed  the Syrians taken out IS assets like this already?  ::)

We can but the Convention of Human Rights and EU law stops us  :-X :-X

We try and do pretty well tbh thanks to the English Channel. The real problem is as soon as they flash a EU passport, we can't do sweet F all but welcome them in and point them in the direction of the local mosque and job centre   >:( >:( >:(

And now thanks to Frau Merkal's kind offer of welcoming 750,000 of the t wats into Germany and fast tracking them through the passport system, its only going to get worse  :(
I saw a survey somewhere last summer when the dozy bitch made that wonderful offer  :-X

It basically said that out of those 750,000, 1% will be radicalized so if my maths is correct, that makes 7500 new nutters so stir shit down at there local mosque.
It also said that out of that 1% (7500), 10% will actively promote and take part in jihad  >:(

So, to cap it off, Merkal has just given passports to 75 minimum shite stirring, murderous scumbags   ::)

Cheers Angela  >:(

I don't think Assad is likely to do it - IS are keeping us nicely distracted from the fact that a year or so ago we were bombing Assad instead..

I recall someone at the time refering to the whole Syrian question as a shit sandwich, the only choice being the filling...

Tofu and lentil shit, meat and two veg shit, three McDonald's a day shit or gastroenteritus shit... doesn't matter how you spread it, it's still all shit.

At the time, Assad was the least palatable choice, now it's the loons ;)

An exercise in sabre-rattling I'm afraid.

I doubt we will make much of an impact.

I we will make several impacts. But they won't have much effect.
After all, bombing Syria isn't going to stop some oppser with a grudge and a gun shooting up a restaurant 2000miles away.

Might as well drop them on Isis instead of a dummy target in The Wash
