I got 36 , mind you I must have got a 17 yesterday when a young girl appeared in front of me from nowhere in front of a parked van,she flew out on those trainers with wheels built in. I swear I stopped an inch from her, she had her hands on the bonnet as it screeched to a stop and I had the death grip on the wheel . Poor girl shot off like a scolded cat but I slowed down further up to check she was ok and gave some green cross code advice.

Oh my God, Omegod.  Couldnt believe it a very similar thing happened to me the other day, too, young girl (well, late teens, early 20s, maybe) wandered out onto the road without looking. But, I had clocked her not looking whilst still on the pavement, so I was already slowing down pretty sharpish before she set foot on tarmac. Only as she was directly in front of me did she glance right. Only then got a proper look at her, eyes streaming, face scrunched up, her mind was elsewhere and was clearly really upset, she held her hands up in apology, mouthed 'I am so sorry' through the tears; poor thing looked like she'd like been told her family has been killed in a coach crash or something

and I thought that MAMIL's had razor sharp reactions.

I got 44 year old first time using the mouse then changed tack and did it with the keyboard and got `you`re not human` every time, about five time on the bounce.

Only when they've got the gear on. It's a bit like the Spiderman / Peter Parker thing.

At 49yo and I have the reaction time of a 23yo, though I am glad I have the experience of a long term professional driver and not a boy racer Experience trumps youth due to ability to read the road and the numpties on it.

Had a try..it came up with 47 year old..not bad for 71....still must have it then...but not sure what it is,,

With you on that one , they should make them a bit noisier , spookily silent
