My daughter got straight 5s in her stats - she is year 6 and nearly 11 years old. She was told she 98 out of 100 in maths and was top of the year :y

Well done, that's a good result...

My daughter is 6 and already she is having Sats drummed into her, at this age i think it is a little too much, the teachers are already starting to explain how this will affect them and she has nearly a year before she takes them.

i have a meeting with the headmaster about this, the school seem to be more interested in their statistics than the well being of the children  >:( >:( >:(

Scotland and wales have scrapped Sats, why can't england

Many congratulations to your daughter - it takes some determination to survive the English public examination system.   :)

I'm pleased with my son - the University just sent him a Certificate of Distinction for his results in his First Year Pharmacology course.  :) :) :)

He's been glued to the television watching reruns of The Simpsons and Scrubs since he got back here for the long vacation.  :(
