Dual Use Kitchen/Home Appliances
« on: 17 January 2016, 10:09:08 »

When I moved 7 years ago I bought a can/bottle crusher (thats still in its box and unused) so now I am sitting here looking round online wondering if the did a plastic bottle shredder that was affordable.  Then as you do I began to wonder how easy it would be to make one.  First thoughts were a liquidizer or a food pro processor.  Then I wondered if you could get a cheese grater style wheel that would bolt onto a bench grinder then make a frame with a tube to drop the bottle in and push it down with a plunger/plug device with a buit in depth stop so it wouldn't hit the wheel (getting exspensive now and time consuming)

Then from reading the forum posts over the years it seems that a lot of home/kitchen appliances have a dual use, so maybe the liquidizer with a modified blade might do the job.
Started to make a list of other ideas and started a fresh post on next page, Feel free to add to it. :y

The kitchen is not my domain.

I believe this space is where women go when they need to cook or clean something for their master. :)

The last thought I want in my head is of a greased rolling pin sticking out of your arse. :)
