Replied on your other thread, Mr Jackv6

The Omega is at that point in its life, whether we like it or not, where they
will appear as drift cars, run what you brung bargain basement racedays, storage shed at the bottom of the garden, bangernomics machines (so until it fails an MoT, when it does, buy another) banger races, etc. Like the Carlton, Senator, VXs, Victors, Crestas, Ventoras, Veloxes and Wyverns before them.
I don't like seeing perfectly good Omegas (nicer nick than mine!) being stripped of their Bose, colours GID screens, engines, leather and the shells scrapped, but there's people on here who have done it for years, and will continue to do so. And I'm not knocking them one bit, either, without them I wouldn't have half the parts on my car now.
Here's a link you may have already seen, but which may serve as inspiration, OP

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=130364.0re: the 3 series, quite probably a good alternative/even a better bet for tuning; however, I would assume there'd be similar howls of disapproval on the Beemer forums of turning an 'ultimate driving machine' into a driftcar. Indeed, they may go so far as to advise the OP to buy such as an Omega instead of 'ruining' a 3 series.
