Funny... I've been a three customer for around 10 years and have always found them to be superb on the customer service front, especially if you can get through to customer resolutions who are UK based ;) :y
I found them to be really variable, but ultimately unsatisfactory and unhelpful.  Fortunately I was just trialling them for coverage, and not tied into a contract.

Coverage was too hit and miss for me as well, with frequently no service or too weak a service to use. 3G speeds were quite acceptable though, when a signal was found. I imagine in built up areas, coverage would be better, and thus usable.

Yeah... Coverage can be patchy but is, on the whole, pretty good (except at my house!) Good signal in your house though :-X ::)

I haven't found any reason to move on from S4 yet.

I was forced to after leaving mine in a taxi in Lyon.

Got the S6 and it's great.  The fingerprint unlock, once set up correctly, is great and the extra processing power makes a difference.

Still rubbish compared to the iPhone 6s, and leagues behind the 6s+
Both are gay though, that's the problem.
Ah, so the fact I have a 6s...

Still, for a tenner a month for 200m/ultd text/3Gb on EE's bloody brilliant network, I don't feel like I'm being arse raped.

That might see me through 2 days :-X ::) Besides, EE has it's own issues :-X As we have discussed many times, depends where in the country you are ;)

Aren't Evil Everywhere claiming 95% population coverage for 4G? Although that's a long way from 95% geographical coverage.

Sat on choo choo on way to that hellhole known as the smoke, and have had pretty much permanent data all the way. Mostly 4G. Dropped to edge in woods near Brill.

Everything bar Vodafone works well in my house :). EE is only one providing 4G, and then only upstairs.

When I was looking at ditching O2/NiffNaff I got some PAYG SIM cards and tried EE and 3 (didn't bother with Vodafone as doesn't work well round me, and had o2 anyway). My primary concern was universal voice coverage and near universal high speed data coverage. Which is how I came to my final decision.

3Gb is enough for my needs. I have 2 fibre lines at home and a dedicated adsl in the office, though I tend to use 4G at work as it's faster. If I'm starting to get tight on data, I use wifi in office and tolerate the sub 15Mbps. Also, obviously, I have BT Wifi which I can use when required.

You pays your money...   ...but we are blessed with a competitive market, and thanks to EU, reasonable roaming when we need to visit euroland

Roaming was a big winner for me... Australia and New Zealand with 2 phones and 2 iPads, all using data and numerous calls to/from the UK for business reasons saved me around £14k in roaming charges over the 2 weeks.

Three have good enough coverage for me, most of the time  :y. Their customer service has been pretty good too :y
