Codes P0130, P0173, P0150
« on: 10 February 2016, 09:59:26 »

My Omega is due it's MOT at the end of this month. The car has just been serviced, new plugs, filters, replaced coil pack (1,3 & 5), but the dreaded EML light still keeps coming on.
The MOT garage checked the emissions for me and it was well off the scale.
The codes showing are P0130 02S11 circuit malfunction, P0173 fuel trim malfunction bank 2 and P0150 02S21 circuit malfunction. How do I get it through the MOT without bunging the tester a wad?

If the car doesnt get used much ,probably would benefit from a good blast getting everything nice and hot. ;)

Try putting in couple of tanks of Full Fat Fuel ..Super Unleaded.and driving it hard for a while as maybe just needs a proper drive.

Yes, I've tried that. Cleared the codes and took it up the M58, got it close to the ton, but next day the EML came on again.
