bonnet problem

any ideas on how to release a stuck bonnet on an elite. I can hear the catch trying to work & bonnet is slightly up on  drivers side. the cable is adjusted ok.

Have a look in gen help or FAQs, think it,s in one of those. :y

Get someone to try to open bonnet,By pushing up and down while you work on the lever.

  I did that, laid my 16st on the bonnet whilst the wife pulled the lever. talk about an eureka moment. the culprit was a plastic hose clip I,d left on the h/light cover/  :y
