Renault Captur
« on: 16 March 2016, 20:05:56 »

Been in on of these today-is it Stemo's better half that has one?-don't know if they have different trim levels or not but this one just had dci on the tailgate. My impressions were that the interior seemed a bit basic and instrumentation was sparse, however instruments seem to show information you need to know so why add more?Must say it was comfy enough, rode well and overall not a bad place to be.Would I buy one given the money?Well no,but that's mainly because my preferred body style is four door saloons and not hatchbacks,it's French of course which for me would also rule it out as I try my best not to buy anything French be it a car or anything else.

Odd looking little so n so, is it a clit crossover?

Still probably nicer than my steed for the week - a metallic beige Toyota auris  ???

Speaking of ugly boring cars  I followed an abortion called a Datsun Juke along the M42 today.

Enough to scare small children. :-\

I have a theory they're designed for people who can't park well. I mean, if you crashed it, who'd know!  ;D

And The level of service I and everyone I know has received from Nissan only serves to deepen the mystery!

Including, but not limited to my former (7months pregnant) boss being unable to get a courtesy car from not one but two main dealers when her 4month old Nissan Joke sh!t itself and needed a week at the dealers.

The Japanese and their spelling, eh? I'm sure they meant "Joke".

Still, at least they've stopped the front wings rotting through in 18 months like the ones on my Grandad's 120Y did. ;D

My Uncle had a coupé one in the very early eighties... Not a great choice considering they lived next to Vazon beach in Guernsey ::)

They've built a couple with GT-R running gear, but the ones in the showroom have as much motor sport connection as an S-line Audi or M badged BMW.

The Nissan Leaf is also part of that family. The motor etc is deliberately packaged to fit like an engine and transmission.
