From a personal point of view I actually agree with you both, well, the Stemo thing and the knee in the groin bit, but as for the rest of it, dont have a clue what your talking about.

It certainly does, but it all depends on the % rate of interest.  A building society I used to used to pay 6.5% and it now pays 1.3% so the tax change makes a diffirence (but as paul Daniels used to say but "not a lot")

Ah, right, kinda get it, so what your saying is any money leftover from paying bills, food and shite, you actually  give to a Bank for them to hold onto.

Georgie Boy is on pretty safe ground. In order to earn £1000 of interest you need to have a fair old wedge put away.

The Nationwide loyalty saver (for valued customers only ) now offers a piss poor 1.2% instead of a pathetic 0.9%.

Correct. Which is why Osborne has done it........it won't cost much to implement.
