I'd give my left gonad for that!

Rubbish, rubbish cars, but there is just something amazingly beautiful about them.  And to find an original Turbo...... yes, yes please!

I believe the Calibra no more than a Cav in a pretty party frock?

Assuming theres no shell biding going on there  :-\ makes you wonder how much the bids would be if the seller got up off he's arse and scrubbed the car up to how it should look before selling.

Hope the new buyer has factored in the cost of a new transfer box  :)

Pal of mine had a beautiful one in the late nineties which needed a transfer box and the Getrag 6 speed box. Ouch

Yep! Although replacing all four tyres at the same time can preserve them for a bit longer.... bit of a bugger if you have an un-repairable puncture and the other three tyres are half worn...

I forgot about the tyres having to be the same make / type.

You also had to rotate them very regularly to even out wear.

Just had a quick look online and it recommends rotating them every 1500 miles :o

Sod that for a game of soldiers

Just do what everyone else with a 4x4 90's Vauxhall did, disconnect the failed Transfer box.  Then replace the clutch (because that's bound to be Donald)  :D

YAY!  Torque steer!  ;D

They went through transfer boxes for fun.  And tyres needed to be changed as pairs too or they flagged up all sorts of errors.

The original variant did, the later versions had oil temperature sensors and tripped the box before serious damage was done.

Tyre rotation is an issue for all the modern AWD vehicles to, plenty of goosed Haldex units on VAG units as a result of not doing it.
