anyone know where i would find a irmscher wood steering wheel. later one with stereo control really after one

Believe Zirk has Irmscher wheel for sale in parts for sale section,but think it's carbon fibre type?

I still feel guilty for selling my car a few years ago complete with a 'wooden' Irmscher steering wheel ....... even more so after they wrote it off within months of buying it.

If you can't get a factory finished wheel buy Zirk's and I'll " paint " a faux wood effect on it for you .
I've done several wheels now.
Here's the finished effect although any wood grain or shade can be mimicked . Process involves initially removing the old carbon wrap finish.

very nice..

my car is facelift with stereo controls and later flat airbag

will a irmscher wheel without stereo control still be ok.. can I fit my later style airbag and control switches for stereo

You re-use your existing airbag and audio controls on the steering wheel as they are a straight fit.

You can fit a non audio button style wheel and manually use stereo although suspect any modification to airbag would be an insurance consideration.You cannot fit audio buttons onto a non audio button style steering wheel as it will require cutting the edges very carefully and coming up with a method of securing them in place.
