What mods would be best to start with???
« on: 21 July 2008, 21:06:22 »

As some of you may know, i have just bought a 98 mv6 manual estate.
I also have a v6 vectra sri, which did have a few mods, and was shown at this years pvs.
I am looking at modding my miggy, but where do i start?
I did the throttle body, air intake, ported etc all on my vectra, but can all of this be done to my miggy?
And if it is possible, where do you get the parts from?
My miggy is practically standard at the moment, apart from a panel k & n which is on order (not stocked!!).
And cruise control which i bought off Chris.
My car is booked in in a fortnight to have a full re-spray, then the week after it is having new brake lines fitted, which whilst they're doing this they're going to fit my new grooved and drilled discs, with ebc green stuff.
So there, the floor is open, where do i start?????

What does the chip do?
I was looking at getting a cat back system, quoted £340 fitted, whichever tale pipe i wanted, or £450 for a twin exhaust.
Then after i've got that and few other little bits done, getting a remap done, quoted £280 for that.
