Diff Oil

Tried to get SAE90 at ECP and Andrew page, no luck. Is any other type OK to mix? they have EP90, Hypoid etc. etc. :-\ :-\ :-\

Halfords do a fully sympathy, which is what i use now, bout £5.00 with a card I think.

Ep90 do aswel

For what it costs why not use genuine vauxhall diff oil. I got some last week it was £10/ltr. It's not as if you're going to be changing it every year so why not spend a little bit more for the proper stuff.

I would have, but they hadn't got any either, and I need to do it this weekend. So absent any further input I'll use the EP 80W-90 :y

Works OK in mine. It took the whole litre to 'top it up', which made the diff a lot quieter!

Works OK in mine. It took the whole litre to 'top it up', which made the diff a lot quieter!

I`m not surprised it was quieter, it`s only 1.1l capacity  ;D
