Windows anniversary update
« on: 27 August 2016, 18:50:58 »

Well, my phone has updated its self, it's wat win10 does, my phone has now gone to a totally useless bit of tech,
All the text is either too large or too big, some apps have been removed, and all web pages are just don't load as they use to, and Microsoft don't give a &&&&&,and on doing a bit of searching, lots of others having problems.

Well, I think that's a "that'll teach you to use Windows Phone".  I know, I'm forced to suffer one.

I'm with the oldies on this one. I have a £120 sim free Samsung galaxy core from argos. I pay 3 £10 a month for 600 mins, 1GB of data and unlimited texts. I usually have most of my allowances left at the end of the month as I don't do internet on the phone cause I can't see it without binoculars, and I don't really call anyone cause I have no friends (that I want to talk to, anyway).

Meant to small, or over fills the page.

It's the same with Apple/Google, you can't access the app stores on either without an account, and the phone is useless without apps, so.........tell us everything about yourself or fick off.

It's the latest 950 Microsoft Lumia, you don't get a chance to know about updates, it just updates, you can roll it back by doing a full reset, but that limits what works after, due to mr gates Muppet's, not allowing as you don't have the full updates, "you can't enjoy the experience" no coz you breaked it up.
Er tablet mode not good on a mobile, but a Microsoft customer liason person, thinks its a hiccup.because the software things a mobile is a tablet, stoopid spanks.

Im a bit out of touch with windows phones these days but there was a PC Software called Nokia Retail which you can download plus theres a patch for most of the MS Lumia's. nice bit of kit, apart from recovering bricked phones it would let do a Full Back Up and Restore, you could also update the phone via USB letting roll back if you didn't fancy it. might have a copy kicking around somewhere.

The early Nokia Lumia's were a well made phone, 700/800/900 series, they were based on the original Nokia N9 (Meego OS) design, then started coming the plastic rubbish, till not convinced MS will be in the Market much longer for making their own phones, they may find a Manufacture to take it on, but seeing how they shafted Nokia big time, who knows.  >:(

I believe Nokia have there Joint MS Licence expiring this year, so with a bit of luck, and assuming theres any Nokia Staff left, we may see some decent Nokia Androids coming out in the near future.  :-\

It's the same with Apple/Google, you can't access the app stores on either without an account, and the phone is useless without apps, so.........tell us everything about yourself or fick off.

.. or just download the APK and install it yourself.... ::)

Yep, or plenty of Markets other than PlayStore, and dont install or get rid of Google Services, very few Apps require it, and its just a Memory / Resource hogger.
