Had a conversation about Marmite recently - would you believe?

I love Marmite but, I have several friends who don't. Would even get in a panic if the spread should even hover over their sliced bread or toast.

Yet I can't stand Vegemite :-/

Apparently the Ozzies can't stand Marmite either :o

dusty if you saw where the yeast came from at the brewery, you wouldnt like it either. as i live in burton where the damn stuff is made...errgh it stinks on a hot day.. :o

Thats well past kinky...and even wierd..

Me?  I hate it.  My wife loves it and insists on me doing her marmite on toast weekend morninigs...she always wants a kiss just after as well - NO WAY!!

I'm only about 15 miles from Burton - if the wind turns.....
There's an unwritten rule - never go to Burton on a friday afternoon - slucing out day at the Maltings...

some graet smells in burton, nestle & of course the brewing of the ales. however, kerry foods & marmite are disgusting even on a good day. :o
