Corbyn hired her to do an independent enquiry into anti Semitism in the Labour party. She immediately became a member of the party - independence therefore shot to bits. She then reported there wasn't much to worry about. Corbyn almost immediately put her on his leaders list to be elevated to the upper chamber - any credibility she may have had shot to bits.
Everyone has their price, they say, and Corbyn found hers pretty quickly.
Disgraceful.
