Can't help but it's one of my bucket list cars, definitely, love Esprits. Just for the looks of the thing, I suspect it'll never work long enough to drive it!

I seem to remember the Esprit (300 S?) doing quite well on the Top Gear jaunt to Argentina.

 Not keen on the Elise. Reminds me too much of the MG rovers they did what ever they were called.(no idea why)

Excel, one day, Esprit if im really lucky.

The S1 Elise was a nice car but a lot of the motoring press thought that the VX220 was the better car, abd then there is the VX220 turbo  8)
