Glow Plugs
« on: 18 October 2016, 12:01:59 »

Hi all,

Can anyone give me the part number for glow plugs for a 2.5TD (BMW engine)? What would be the best ones to use?

Thanks for your help ;)

I usually use Bosch glowplugs in my old Merc diesel. Tried cheapo ones once and they were useless. I would just order them from your nearest motor factors, or eurocarparts etc. WHerever you get them for the best price.

Can't remember which ones, but I put Beru in my old tractor.  Vaguely recall them being about £5 each, but that was 8yrs ago...

Put Beru in my 2.5Td when I had it. Original equipment in many cars and reasonably priced.

when i had my td & needed bits i often went to a range rover dealership far cheaper than either vauxhall or bmw. my tractor only had the one set in 10yrs.
