Not so impressed
« on: 01 November 2016, 22:54:46 »

I have got used to the quirkiness of how things dont work in Spain.

Not at all impressed with latest visit to UK. Here are just some.

Went on net to send a parcel , printed label, took it to drop off point. Guy couldnt take it as his reader " still has 37 faults on it" .

Annual boiler service of elderly relative. Engineer attends. Cant do service as gas fire was on. He even took a photo to show his control centre. Gas fire hasnt been used for maybe ten years. Couldnt come back till after we were back in Spain. So now nearly 100 year old has to switch CH off on Thursday midday and wait till engineer has been at five. Lets hope it isnt a cold day.

The interminable saga with the tumble drier. How long has this been going on? Tried to get an appointment last week while we could attend that relatives house. Sorry we cant do that. There is a waiting list. You dont say.  Just had a text to say the engineer is attending in the morning sometime between 7.15 and 10.  Slightly younger old person but  could take five minutes to get to the door always assuming they are up. Clueless idiots.
