Speedo, gauges not working and warning lights on
« on: 07 November 2016, 12:58:57 »

Hi Guys,

My MV6 is playing up, when I press the accelerator the speedo , rev counter and fuel gauge all stop working, the abs and traction control lights come on, occasionally the airbag warning light too. when i release the accelerator the lights go out and the gauges start working again. Any ideas where to start please

Wiring chaffing somewhere... Probably in the loom behind the dash fuse box...

I would probably start by checking the power sounder loom and go from there...

Wouldn't drive it though :-\

Nope, something in the loom is gounding... power sounder wiring is in same area and isn't fused... you need to physically check the wiring behind the dash fusebox before the car turns to ash...
