Hi my bonnet will not open something seemed to snap and the latch inside the car is loose....can anyone help to get into the bonnet

Never owned a 2.2 so may have some more room over a V6 if you can get to the latch from under the Car, if not then through the Grill on a FL as explained in the guide.

Many thanks will give it a try. even thought of smashing the grill to get into the engine.....or a can opener

Smashy smashy time on the grill..... cheap enough and easy enough to replace.

Once black plastic is smashed out, need to reach in and release it manually, can be a tad difficult!

Then once open can work on it and replace the cable

A very good reason why owning a rare Irmscher FL grille has its downsides!

All fixed had to smash grill but had another which will do just now a pheasant flew into that one so its stuck together
