Don't think I've ever been at or below 1/4 of a tank. Can't see any need to do that at all.

Cos there's still gallons left when the tank shows 1/4 ...... why not re-fill at 1/2 a tank?  ::)

Depends where I am, if around & about at home where you're always within a short distance from any fuel station I'll leave it till the light comes on. If on holiday etc I'll probably fill up sooner ::) than I would at home
Because that would be anal, and leaving it till the light comes on is stupid, so 1/4 seems about right to me.
You have too much time in your hands ro keep visiting petrol stations :P

Aye, fuel pump was making some funny noises about four miles after filling up and it seemed to be low on power so I took the fuel filter out and dissected it, I was very surprised to find it like this though  :o
