Good news from the Medical Folk
« on: 24 January 2017, 15:11:26 »

I saw the spinal consultant who upon looking at my new scan has told me I'm about 80% into how far I'm going to recover

I'm chuffed with that because as it stands walking, driving moving etc feels a lot easier now. If there's another 20% to go I'm well chuffed.

I soon start private physio and hydrotherapy which will be tailored at getting me back to fitness for my work. I've been told that going back to work on the streets (Well the M1) is "not an option to be ruled out in the coming months" , so I must keep positive about this :y

Physio has also said I can moderate car work but NO heavy lifting, as when the vertebrae broke up its wiped out a disc

Not too shabby at all, we are only 8 months in :y

Good stuff.  :y

Don't forget the no heavy lifting. It would be so easy to spoil the recovery in a moment of madness.
