That sinking feeling of doom
« on: 25 January 2017, 14:53:30 »

Does anyone else get a feeling of "what have I done" when you're nearly 4 hours into a one-way train fare, buying a cheap old Omega totally unseen, wondering "is it even going to get me home"  ::)   ;D :-X

I'll let you know at about midnight  ;D

James.....every Omega knows when it is about to be saved from the knackers yard.

This old car will be eternally grateful and get you safely home without mishap. :y

It's one of those situations whereby you think "it's pointless walking away, even if it's a shed, because the cost of my train home wouldn't be much less"  ;D

He's just got to fit a crank sensor, hbv, camcover gaskets, coil packs, diff pinion seal, wheel bearings, wishbones, droplinks, track rod ends, discs and pads and rebuild the ignition tumbler and he'll be on his way  :y

I have faith in the miggy, my shrink says it's good to believe in something. They might let me out soon...no sharp objects unfortunately.
