Well after finally taking the plunge. I gave the Old Girl a new set of proper boots. X4 Michelin Pilot Sports. Took me 2 weeks get a Saturday appointment for Wim Chesham. So decided park her up and wait. I was expecting to pay £115 for all the adjustments. But they such decent chaps there, they only charged £38+ vat. Only required Toe adjustment. She had new Vx Mv6 springs and shocks fitted couple years ago. Serek fitted wishbones + poly bushes + idler and donuts last April. Coming back down A41 the motor felt completely planted, no more annoying vibration, in all honesty chaps its never been like that since the day I bought her. I guess at the end of the day you only get what you pay for :y

After Watford Borough Council gets through whacking up the Council Tax. Hopefully they'll invest in filling a few :y

No, like any other Council, they will appropriate any Tax increases to augment their already over-inflated salaries!  >:(

It's amazing what a difference a decent chassis geometry setup does for an Omega that hasn't been setup for a while. A properly setup Omega is surprisingly agile considering it's size and weight  :y

I resent the insinuation that a council would behave like that. :o


.. they'll build themselves a swanky new council offices first. >:(

EDIT: And then the batsrads will buy your local pub using a shell company to disguise themselves, and rent it to the highest bidder (Co-Op in my case). >:(

Nope, but the quality went down. They only sell bottles of fizz. I also thought the ambience in the place couldn't get any worse, to be honest, but I was proved wrong. ;D

Given there are so many angles to adjust on the Omega, and that WIM have their own proven settings for each (which is why they come so recommended) - I am amazed that every single angle on your car, bar the "tracking," was set exactly to WIM spec  :-X
