New computer

Just bought the lad a new computer, he couldn't wait to get started on it. Took it home connected up, switched on.........updating......4 fickin hours. Get rid of McAfee, 20 fickin minutes. Preparing your apps......20 fickin minutes..........gaaaaah.😤

Sounds about right with win10, dont want to say I told you so, but Windows 11 comes out at the end of March.  ::)

Sounds about right with win10, dont want to say I told you so, but Windows 11 comes out at the end of March.  ::)
Had no choice. His win7 computer was about five years old and has been on life support for the last 6 months. He will be fine with 10 for now, it's mainly for college work.

If you had bought a "nearly new" computer from one of your scouse mates, it would have been all set up and ready to go.  :)

What like Microsoft never back track or change there mind,  ::)

Alpha was around last year, Beta has been around since Xmas for the Insiders mob.

Full Version can be downloaded as from Midnight on the last day of March.  ;)
