Rear door check strap....
« on: 30 March 2017, 18:04:36 »

Hi everyone,
I'm trying ( & failing as usual! ) to remove the rear door on my estate.
What do I need to remove the check strap bolt? Is it a torx & if so what size? I thought I had them all but mine are very old & I can't
read what size they are but none of them fit.
I took a picture of it but have given up trying to load. As you can tell, patience isn't my best strong suit  ;D

Also in case you've not already, save yourself some bother and scraped paint, leave the rear door shut, and do all the removing work with the front door open.  :)
