Gilson Lavis (74). Drummer for Squeeze, Jools Holland's big band and about a hundred other shows/bands.

He also played my 6th form leavers' ball alongside Mike D'Abo and a couple of other famous names - the highlight of his career I'm sure  :D

Always thought he was a lot older that me I am 64, expected maybe he was well into his 70's

Someone on another forum commented that he was actually 78, but wound the numbers back.  ::)
Apparently he was done for clocking cars several years ago.
