My ABS lights come on after a few miles every day.

Following a guide on Bimmerfest I tested the sensors from the plug at the ABS ECU with my multi meter and the front offside was the only one that I couldn't get any sort of reaction from. My local garage plugged their code reader in and said it was the front nearside.

I got a BMW sensor from the local scrappy, but no joy and today I've tried a cheap £10 pattern sensor on both front wheels and the light is still on.
Given that a new BMW sensor is £108 I'm reluctant to buy one unless I'm 100% certain that it'll sort the problem, hence the pissing around with second hand and cheap sensors....

The other thing of course is that it's the ABS ECU playing up which is apparently a well known fault as they're located by the exhaust manifold. So I could whip it off and pack it off to BBA Reman.....

Any advice would be gratefully received! TIA!
