Hi all,
Is there a list of recommended online suppliers?
I need to purchase a few items, and live in the back of beyond, and due to my work location cant make calls during the day. Main stealers are a bit of a hike as well so I historically have done most of my parts purchasing online but this is my first Vauxhall so I am a bit lost for who to go to for what. My local(not really) motorfactors are fine for oils etc. but have never been even close to competitive for parts. Car is a 2002 2.2 petrol CDX.
My current list of needed items if it helps is:

Full engine service kit (maybe oils too?)
Cambelt kit
Waterpump
Gearbox service kit/gaskets (maybe oils too?)
Floor mat holder clip thingys (all of them!)
Spare key fob - (Ebay I guess?)

All help appreciated.

Don't forget to buy the appropriate OOF cambelt dvd from the shop :y

I'm not overly happy with the 4 pot cambelt dvd - nor is the author of it, JamesV6CDX from what he's said.  I believe most people confident enough to do it can do without the DVD anyway.

The V6 one is a different matter - well produced, and the V6 one has a few pitfalls.

My gut says I dont need a DVD, owned a 1.8T Rover K Series and did the cambelt/headgasket more times than I care to remember and guessing this isnt too far different in comparison. That said happy to spend the pennies to support the site etc.

You'll be fine if you've done cambelts before. Do waterpump at same time, as cambelt driven.  Check and note how waterpump sits before removal.
