Starter motor supplier
« on: 15 June 2017, 20:44:37 »

Hi all
Well fixed radiator issue and the lpg issue thanks to your help. Now starter motor gone... love my omega but it appears to be one thing after the next.
Can anyone suggest supplier for starter motor omega 2.6  v6 please.

All V6 Omega starters are the same iirc... buy a known working second one and swap the solenoid over... might just be possible on the car :-\ if it isn't then simply swap the whole thing over ;)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-B-94-03-3-2v6-2-6v6-Starter-Motor-1005831224-FREEPOST-/162541280199?fits=Model%3AOmega%7CCars+Type%3A3.2+V6&hash=item25d8371bc7:g:txUAAOSwt0FZDHkx

This sounds cheap enough. At this price it makes harvesting my own off cars I scrap barely worth while. Do scrappies lift the engines out?

I believe they do Terry, especially as most engines now have a large alloy content...
