Can't see why folk get upset about old celebrities (I use that word loosely) popping their clogs. It's what happens when it's your time.

It's because, for SOME special people, we don't want to see them go, STEMO.

I'd had a cursory glance but didn't see him mentioned. Besides, they all deserve their own thread, and I'll  start one for any I think worthy of a mention whether in the other thread or not.

You can see why others have thrown the towel in Reith forum with some of Taxi Al/Gollums remarks  ......

Not upset per se .... but he'd  been around for a long long time on telly. Even my kids saw him present some stuff. And we all saw Trumpton
