Yet another sting in the tail.....WORK.

Avonmouth yesterday so Hotel Scania lastnight. Boss phoned today, told me he's got me lovely run tomorrow.....Late start, just do a couple of shunts then run down to Weybridge (Surrey) for a 9am Saturday tip. Wo'nt be home 'til sat pm >:(
   At least night out money is tax free!!!

When you park up for the night......do you use lorry parks?
Just wondering coz i saw an artic the other day parked up on double yellows.....out of the way, not causing an obstruction.....and obviously asleep in his cab.....curtains drawn.

A traffic warden had crept up and slapped a ticket on his windscreen  >:(

Could have tapped on his door and asked him to move it  >:(

Expensive kip that.......unless his boss pays the parking fines  :-/

No double yellows for me. Was he continental? They tend not dare about fines etc.

Should add......

I have seen some artics park in the same place......and the drivers have taken their number plates off so the carnt get a ticket  :y

I guess the vultures don't think of looking at the tax disc  :-/

From what I've seen of some truck cabs, they beat the sh1t out of tents!! ::) ;)
