All leather is wanky. Hot in summer, cold in winter. A decent cloth wins every time.

Interesting feedback, guessing it's same in Zaf Tourer. I was considering seeking out Elite spec ones. Maybe not now

Heated leather Signum Elite seats are pretty comfortable. But then The Signum is a prestige motor car.

My zafira elite leater seats are good, perforated leather, heaters at a sensible level of heat, plenty of support and Im not small!
can sit for hours in them no problem.  they are 2008 vintage though so things have changed

Looking at later ones, leather looks smooth. Not perforated

Any leather seat must have coolers as well. It should be law

That used car seller from Oxford told me the airline style (perforated) are generally more comfortable, but I forget the reason why.

Agreed....but not coolers made by Jaguar because they are utter shite.

Something to do with the 'peltier' system they use.

Agreed....but not coolers made by Jaguar because they are utter shite.

Something to do with the 'peltier' system they use.

Fairly certain mine takes chilled cabin air and gently blows through.  That said, I suspect if you had cabin set to 23C, the chilling effect would be shite.  In warm weather mine is definitely capable of getting uncomfortably cool with cabin set to 18-19C

They are wipe clean though, which must be handy.

My Mondeo has 'half leather' ie leather side bits but the actual seat is perforated black material. They look smart and are very comfortable!
