Football 08-09
« on: 09 August 2008, 19:57:30 »

So the season has started. For most clubs at anyrate.

So who are yout team and how have they done today?

Mine are Stevenage Borough who were slaughtered 5-0 by Wrexham :( We are now definatly bottom of the league.
My dads is Luton, who unless Stevenage are promoted (or relegated :O ) this season the Boro will almost deifnatly be playing next year which would make for an interesting derby day to say the least.

Oh yeah didnt mention, the rich mans league aint started yet

Been to Stevenage ground a couple of times when my local team Hednesford town were in the Conference. Remember it as being a nice ground.

I was browsing all the odds for the season before. The one that caught my eye was Ronaldo to be top scorer and Man U to win the premiership.........................10/1 ;)

Torres is favourite for top scorer....I'd like to think so, but............ :-/

Championship least hopefuls (at least according to bookies even though they made it to the finals of the playoffs last season) Bristol City being from there originally....
