According to The Guardian ( so it must be true) the EU compound in Kabul, Afghanistan is at the centre of a black market booze smuggling ring.   

Documents seen by The Guardian show that the EU spent £386,000 of taxpayers cash on booze in 20 months up to December 2016, so that's £18,000 a month.    It seems much of it has been flogged out the back door to black marketeers. 

I'd be shocked and angered if it emerged that the EU were spending this sort of cash on booze in a liberal democracy (which they probably do!), but in a Muslim country where alcohol is banned it's just outrageous!

I expect that this is the tip of the iceberg of EU waste, profligacy and corruption!
