Yes the absurd Mr Trump is going to impose tariffs on raw materials ie steel and the equally (if not more so) absurd EU will impose tariffs on consumer goods in retaliation. 

So whose tariffs will hit ordinary people in the pocket hardest?

Tbh Ron, Ive seen them on U.S. roads and they make sense there. Amble along for hours on end in a relaxed fashion, taking in the scenery etc without a care in the world.
In this country however, I think they are ridden by people who always wanted a big vroom vroom motorbike and buy a Harley because they are noisy (and so must be fast) and they are probably the only one they have ever heard of.

The Eu has drawn up a list of goods from us that could be hit with a tariff. The press here keep talking about peanut butter and bourbon. Big deal - Spaniards consume neither.

The bigger concern will be German cars being hit with tariffs going to the US.

I dont think any country wins trade wars.
