Insurance up for renewal.

Hi guys the insurance for the MV6 is due for renewal at the beginning of Sept.At the moment I am with Hastings Direct but their renewal quote is quite hefty so I am going to change companies.
I have had a quick look on the net and the cheapest I have found is £350 fully comp but that dosen't include protected 7 years no claims bonus.Including that bumps it up quite a lot.
Does anyone pay less than this? Any info appreciated. ;)

Yep, about 100 less!  obviously underwriting criteria come into play - try Bell, and they will often reduce further if you speak to them.

I think the MV6 and the tractor are around £250 each.  Admiral, though I've heard bad things about them.  And they use RAC windscreens....

Ive used this broker for the past few years and they've been consistently cheapest for me.

Yeah tried go compare etc just a bit worried about going with companies we have never heard of.Thought word of mouth may have been a bit safer.
Direct line have come up with a decent quote but without protected bonus...£350

I pay £256 fully comp, legal cover, no claims cover, found Privilege to be the best for us :y

Wow thats good my quote was £402 from them..I have decided to go with Direct Line.Monthly instalments with no interest added.

Post up the companies with the cheap quotes, most are subsiduries of the big boys anyway.

I pay 280 on one and 250 on the other.

No bad price, esp as you buggered up your no claims last year (or was it year before  :-/)...

It had no effect on the no-claims bonus, and seems to have little effect on the premium either as it did not change!
