There is quite a long list of exclusions. Having a cold or flu. A recent tattoo or dental work. Certain medication. Hospital procedures such as an endoscopy etc ...etc. Aids/HIV......drug dependency.

I believe the rules regarding men who either 'take it up the wrong un' or 'push it up the 'wrong un' has been relaxed in recent years. I know there is something on the form about having oral sex with another man.

You certainly need to be mindful of which box you tick.

I've not died of malaria,yellow fever etc
I wonder if you can start to donate again after so long, still being alive despite going to africa

The 5 years they wouldn’t let me donate because of my back have made a big dent in the Total I’ll likely reach.
