I have just had another day, 1 of 3 I am doing per week, of giving home tuition to my 9 year old grandson using his schools Google Classroom link. He is a clever lad, but bloody hell at times he is like pushing 10 tons, without wheels, uphill! He seems to have ADHD, so constantly moves around and I have to use all my professional instructors skills, and mothers instinct, to complete the tasks set successfully.

Any teacher who can lead a classroom full of his age group should get a bloody medal!

I am left exhausted at the end of the day like I never was in business

We used to call it 'Headless Chicken Time', as if you hadn't copped off with some bird by the time the slowies came on at the end, then you ran round like a headless chicken trying to scoop up the leftovers!
