I prefer the looks of the monaro (I might be the only one  ) but as you say, the VXR8 is a better car.

Having done another search found one up north of Leeds have made them an offer lower than the asking price and waiting to hear back

Also, with 4 seats it will be a practical proposition. So what is not to like.

An added bonus is that it won't be killing the planet and all the black babies in Africa because it runs on a fuel designed by God rather than Satan.

Was originally looking at a 6.2 one, but then found that one, done the deal deposit paid got it for £14,500, insurance is just under £100 more than what I pay for the omega, the omega is now listed in for sale section;

Pick the car up next Friday all being well, nice run back to London from Harrogate , try not to get any speeding tickets

 As OOF is like the Hotel California, you always come back, get onto the VXR8 & Monaro facebook forum as well Mike. Excellant knowledge and help there, just like here. Went to a meet up at Saffend seafront last saturday night. We then had a noisy procession along the front and through the town to a fish and chip establishment oppisite the Sainsburys where some more noise was made . Quite a few of the owners were older than both of us two
