Yep, it's not a write off. I've already exchanged some texts with Serek - we're having a chat on the phone tomorrow to hatch a plan

The positive, of course, is that a subframe and wishbones are not part of the chassis, structure etc. They are bolt on components - the car is still solid

There's currently nothing structurally wrong, that has been found on the MOT

James, I know you don't think like this, but a common thing to hear at breakdowns was "How can it have broken down when it was MOTd only three months ago?" There are a lot of people who seem to think an MOT is a full strip down and rebuild with brand new factory parts because £50 for one is really expensive

Oh absolutely! In contrast, as long as I get "It's not as rotton as a peach, and here's your ticket until next time" I'm quiet happy

Totally confused!

It hasn’t passed? The list you see, is the list of failures!

Hence I am discussing options with Serek

For clarification, of course I want a pass, but I shalll not drive anything with dangerous faults
