I'm going to North Yorkshire for a week....again. Don't care if it's cold, raining or whatever, a change of scenery will do just fine.

Well, I know that Three doesn't work too well there, unless you are in Scarborough, Brid, or getting fish and chips in Whitby ;D

I certainly would not want to go abroad at the moment.

What I would like is to go to Yorkshire or Lancashire, like STEMO, and find when I am there that due to new COVID restrictions on travel I cannot come back for 6 weeks! 8) 8) :D ;)

I've made sure that the cottage we're staying in has WiFi and, whilst out and about in the wild, I doubt I'll be sad enough to want to use my mobile  :P

A good many years since I was last in Whitby,all things being equal i'm going there on 8th August for the day as there's a steam traction engine rally due to take place that weekend :y

There's usually one in Pickering earlier than that. Clogs the whole town up from dawn till dusk. Apparently it's okay to drive down the A64 and up from Malton at 6mph in the middle of the holiday season.  ;D

No one holds a gun to people forcing them to buy the tickets and board the plane ::)

And the air is filtered and changed frequently. Oh, and you have to wear a mask on the plane, but not in KFC ;)

That's right , no one forces them, but you suggested it was better than driving. Sheesh, do keep up with what you said three posts ago  ;D
