Tbh I wouldn't be surprised (or sorry) if some bereaved parent put a bullet in him. If I'd been told I wasn't permitted to go to my son/daughter's funeral but later found out that in the same breath he was off having drinkies with the staff, I'd be tempted for sure.

Nope.  He might be a fat oaf, but the last thing we need right now is the country more or less run by civil servants while the Tories slug it out for two or three months choosing a new leader/PM. 

Rishi Sunak can go, but more for the sin of putting taxes up than enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day with the staff. 

You say no...but the question wasn't whether you think he should resign, but whether he will have to. The opposition and, to some extent, his own back benchers may decide he has no option. Or the standards committee may dig up some ancient rule, who knows?

Talking of news, you didn't mention the political activist media who have already reactivated their campaign to oust him.

I've had BBC R2 on in the background all evening and they've dug out all their outraged talking heads again for every hourly news bulletin.

I had two family members , both younger than me, die during the ndemic. It was ghastly having to decide who could or could not attend.
