What makes you think they need cleaning?

Ideally you want to suspend them in an ultrasonic bath and exercise them by feeding pulses through the solenoids while they are cleaning. I would also rig up some means of observing the spray pattern and flow rate so you know if you've improved them. An old fuel pumnp and FPR, rail and a circuit to actuate the injectors. Ideally you want to find a fluid as a petrol substitute with a similar density but not quite as likely to turn your garage / shed, etc. into a fireball. :o

Perfectly do-able on a DIY basis but not sure it's worth setting up for a one-off job.

I've used these people before: http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/. Very good service. Injectors come back clean with a before and after report on flow rate and spray pattern. Rubber seals, finger filters and pintle caps replaced with new.

I went to the trouble of getting a second set of injectors to cover me while they were away. Needn't have bothered. The morning after I fitted them to the car the cleaned ones came back. They were away well under a week and I sent them bog standard first class post.
