I didnt actually see it until I saw the pics later that night.
I could just feel it and wasnt sure exactly where it was or wasnt, which caused a degree of  panic.
Wife almost passed out when I ran into the house with it attached, which didnt allay me fears much. 
I also had another major worry when they took my BP in the Ambulance.
It was 203 / 105, which then made me worry that the aneurysm might burst.
That would have made the eye injury a minor concern. 

Dangerously high if BP persists at this level. Possibility of stroke amongst the other things mentioned.

Glad you're feeling more chipper now it's been pulled out.

Just checked BP and its now at a level many 30 year olds would be happy with. 
120/68. Heart rate at 77.

Plenty of staff did indeed come to have a look and even take pics. 
Almost fully recovered now. Feels like a slight bruising in the general area, but otherwise all ok.

Went to the tip earlier, dumped my stuff and parked out of everybody's way outside the gates, as I normally do and went back in to have a nosy round the shop.

This time one of the staff hurried over and told me that I couldn't park there and walk back on site. Why not? I said. It's busy and I'm out of the way parked there, and I won't be long anyway. 

New rules mate. Someone did that a few days ago when management were here and they went ballistic! He said.

So I can drive back in, park in there, get in everybody's way and walk around where ever I like?

For context the tip is at the end of a lane that only goes to the tip, and it splays out at the gate so there's loads of room to park.

Management tossers!  Sigh..    He did have the grace to look embarrassed at the absurdity of it tho.
