if it can be made to run correctly then it should be worth a decent amount more, which should cover whatever i'd need to pay you all!! 
as said, original fitters are not trustworthy, and have upset a few people, not just me
i'm hoping it'll be cost effective in the long run, i really cant afford to lose any more money on it, so if i have to pay £250 in expenses to people to come fix it and only sell it for £250 more than it is now, then it'll do for me, there are no other reputable garages around here apart from one in bolton, who refused to touch it
As said, I could have got a lot further if my multimeter hadn't have buggered on me 
It's up to you if you want another pair of eyes James...
I don't think it'll cost you as much as £250 in expenses to get it either fixed or pulled out Danny... But I'd like to think that the fix will become glaringly obvious when James gets a working multimeter on it
