Well they stopped people from doing that sort of thing with the 50mph average speed cameras.  ::)    ;D

They seemed great programmes back then Lizzie,I also enjoyed the Sweeney but watching them now they seem pretty poor in the acting department.

Yep, but the 1970’s was a naff decade anyway, so like the cars and the country we just accepted the tosh.  Mind you, it now seems The Sweeney was spot on about the flying squad, but without the corruption! ::) ;D ;D ;)
