How can i remove the sideskirt?

Hi guys,
i would like to repair the rust patch around the rear wheel.
how can i remove the sideskirt, and the rubber line? there are 2 rivet like thing.

Push the centre of the rivets through and retrieve them from the floor/behind the end cap.

Then undo the torx screw under the front end of the sill cover and pop off the little black caps along the underside of the cover.

Then, using your foot, tap the cover forward along the car until it falls off.

Trying to remove the cover any other way is likely to result in broken clips which have been unobtainable since 2012.

From memory - the black rubber strip can be just prised off gently ?

From memory - the black rubber strip can be just prised off gently ?

thanks guys, ive been able to remove the skirt




i tried to repair some amount of rust, but it need a full sill change...
